Deputy Mayor Michael Warren has called Rochelle Park his home since June, 2015. He was raised in Hasbrouck Heights with his two siblings and graduated from their public high school. Michael attended and graduated from Bergen Community College, Montclair State University, and Thomas Edison State College with a Bachelor’s in Communication Studies and a Bachelor’s in History, respectively. Michael earned his Masters Degree in Education with a focus on educational technology from Walden University. He is married to his husband Christopher and they both chose to live in Rochelle Park after a lengthy search. Rochelle Park offers a great small town feel and community and great future potential for children, working families, and senior citizens. Michael is a public school teacher in Hasbrouck Heights High School and has been working with students, parents, and community members for over 10 years teaching U.S. History, World History, Government & Politics, and a variety of Advanced Placement courses. This is Michael’s first time serving as a publicly elected official. Michael is the Liaison to the Building and Health Department this year.
