The Tax Collectors Office is open Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
The Tax Assessor James R. Tighe is available on Wednesdays from 5:00pm to 7:00pm , 201-587-7730 ext. 213

TAX COLLECTION

The Tax Collector is charged with the receipt and collection of all taxes, assessments and other fees both current and delinquent. All funds are remitted to the Finance Department.

It is important to note that the municipal taxes are only a portion of a Rochelle Park property taxpayer's obligation. Three other separate governmental entities, Bergen County government and Rochelle Park Local Public School District, develop and adopt their own budgets to be funded by taxes.

However, New Jersey's fiscal laws require the municipal government of Rochelle Park to serve as a billing and collection agency for all separate entities.
