| The new Certified Municipal
Registrar, Katherine Baccala, will be available Tuesdays and
Thursdays from 9:00AM to 2:00PM. Her office is in the
Building Department, Room 141. Please call ahead
(201-587-0522 ext. 101) if you are coming in to apply for a
marriage license. Be aware that there is a 72-hour waiting
period from the time you apply until the license can be
issued. Once issued, the license is valid for 30 days.
Please be advised that all Vital
Statistics records for the Township of Rochelle Park, prior
to September 1999, were lost in Tropical Storm Floyd.
Anyone requesting records issued
before September 1999, are required to apply to the State of
New Jersey, Dept. of Health and Senior Services, Vital
Statistics Registration, P.O. Box 370, Trenton, NJ
08625-0370. You can also go to their website at
www.state.nj.us/health/vital to obtain information,
forms, directions, etc. If you need records in order to
renew licenses, please give yourself plenty of time. It
takes awhile to get the records. |
